How to run a more secure business

General Advice

Customers don't like surprises, so it's always a good idea to provide clear detail when debit orders will be deducted.  Acpas provides a sms facility to notify customer on debit order decutions.

Customer Screening

Always be wary of odd behavior from customers.  Make sure you have a copy of his or her bank statement to ensure that the bank account number is a valid account number. 

It is good practice to provide credit or goods on terms for customers who is longer employed than three months.

Disputed Transactions

In the event of a dispute, try to set a constructive tone, and give the customer the benefit of the doubt.  See if you can come up with a solution that benefits both parties, and remeber that good customer service can go a long way toward resolving problems.

Every once in a while, something goes wrong with an order.  But this is a normal, expected part of doing business - and it doesn't have to lead to serious problems.  That's because many disputes stem from misunderstandings, which are often resolved with honest, open communication between providers and customers. 

Customers will dispute transaction that are: deducted without their concent, incorrect due date or insufficient funds.
